Vintage Sewing Doll
This collector's doll will set happily in your doll collection or sewing room with her sewing basket and needle. She is approximately 16" tall. Her bisque head (with beautifully sculpted eyelids) is satin smooth and has been delicately painted with brown eyes, softly colored cheeks and expressive lips. Her hair is styled with a center part, pulled back over the ears into a soft ringlet of curls held by an invisible net and hair ornament. Her A little rose and black jewel is held around her neck with the matching velvet ribbon. Notice her finely sculpted hands which will hold a sewing needle and thread! Her dress is off the shoulder, trimmed with lace, 3/4 sleeves trimmed with velvet type ribbon. The skirt features 4 velvet trimmed ruffles. Beneath the skirt is a net under slip with lace trimmed pantaloons. Her long white lace stockings are very neat and her shoes are black velvet slip-ons. Her special chair is included. The overall measurement is
17" - 18". Her marking is: "1968 Curtis Publishing Company".
